RECALL ALERT : OC Raw Dog Recalls Chicken, Fish & Produce Raw Frozen Canine Food
A new dog food recall has emerged from OC Raw Dog food company who has had a previous recall this year. In question are 640 lbs. of Chicken, Fish & Produce Raw Frozen Canine patties, sliders and Meaty Rox products which may be contaminated with Salmonella.
There are no illness reports at this time, but check back as more is uncovered
This recall is limited to Chicken, Fish & Produce Raw Frozen Canine recipes that were packaged into 6.5-lb. Doggie Dozen Patties, 4-lb. Doggie Sliders, and 3-lb. Meaty Rox with the lot number 1819, and use by date of 05/05/16.
The frozen foods were sold in specialty pet retail locations throughout Colorado, Pennsylvania & Vermont.
If you believe that you have purchased the dog food in question you’re being advised to take a picture of the package with lot number on the bottom left corner of the back of the package to email@example.com. The company will then verify if it is contaminated and if confirmed advise you to dispose of the product immediately or return it to the point of purchase for replacement or refund.
